The Glorious Twentieth National Day Medal (Midal al-'Aid al-Watani al-'Ishirin al-Majid) was instituted by Sultan Qaboos in 1990 in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Sultan Qaboos' 1970 accession to the Oman throne. The Medal was awarded to personnel in recognition of service provided on November 18, 1990. The award may also be known as the Twentieth Anniversary Medal.

The obverse is dated in Arabic numerals. The reverse is translated as "Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Mua'tham" and is dated in Arabic numerals.
