History

The Order of Merit Heroism was instituted by the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP).

The Decoration features both Arabic and English inscriptions. The obverse features an Arabic inscription which translates to "Order of Heroism The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine" and an English inscription on the reverse which reads "D.F.L.P ORDER OF MERIT HEROISM."
