History

The Palestine Medal was awarded to Saudi Arabian military personnel in commemoration of the battles fought in 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973 for the liberation of Palestine. Only personnel who were actually engaged in combat were eligible for the award of the Medal.

The Medal may also be awarded posthumously.

The Medal may feature the recipient's date of recognized service, but more research is needed to confirm.
