History

The Order of the Syrian Family was established by Legislative Decree on March 4 or 18, 1952, as a motherhood award to promote children. The Order is presented in 5 Classes.

The V Class Medal is composed of bronze and is conferred upon mothers who have reared between 3 and 5 children.

Recipients of the Order may also be entitled to a monetary consideration from the government.
