History

The Order of Glory (Sharaf) was instituted on December 16, 1996. The Order is presented in 2 Classes to citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan in recognition of meritorious service. Qualifying service includes service towards economic development, social progress, science, culture, or education. Exemplary public, military, or community service may also be eligible for the award.
