New Zealand Chief of Defence Force Commendation
Estimated market value:
The New Zealand Chief of Defence Force Commendation was instituted by a stand-alone Defence Force Order in 2005. It was created to reward civilian and military personnel along with military units of the New Zealand Defence Force whose outstanding achievement or special service would be unlikely to merit another New Zealand honour. It recognises extraordinary performances or acts of bravery that go beyond the demands of normal duty. It may also be awarded to commonwealth citizens and other foreigners.
The Decoration is accompanied with a manuscript outlining the reasons for the award.
