Electricity Commission Medal, in Gold

The Electricity Commission Medal (Gold) is conferred upon members of Papua New Guinea's electricity commission in recognition of 30 years of service.
There are two versions of the Gold Medal. The first was instituted prior to 1973, and features the inscriptions, "PAPUA AND NEW GUINEA ELECTRICITY COMMISSION" and "FOR 30 YEARS SERVICE."
The second version was instituted in 1973 upon the establishment of the internal self-governance of Papua New Guinea, and features the inscription change to, "PAPUA NEW GUINEA ELECTRICITY COMMISSION".
The medal was made obsolete in 1981.
