This Medal is awarded to Central African mothers in recognition of raising large families.
The Gold Medal is awarded for raising 13 children, the Silver Medal is awarded for raising 10 children, and the Bronze Medal is awarded for raising 7 children.
There are two versions of the medal that differ in inscription. The first version features an obverse inscription that translates to "Medal for Mothers, Central African Republic," and the second version features an obverse inscription that translates to "Medal for Mothers, Central African Empire."
