History

This medal was conferred upon military personnel of the Ghanaian Armed Forces for service under the UN in the Congo. It was also conferred upon military personnel of the British Armed Forces in recognition of support to Ghana during this campaign.

This medal features a bar with the inscription "CONGO" on the obverse. The obverse and reverse feature inscriptions.
