Physical Description

The Cross consists of a Maltese cross with obverse centrepiece featuring a partially enameled emblem of the Chilean Army.

History

Established by President Sebastian Pinera Echenique, this medal is awarded to recognize representatives of the Chilean Army who have supported the effort of the Army with notable actions.

The Cross is awarded to Military and civil personnel, Chilean and foreign, in recognition of their efforts to improve the Chilean Army.
