Physical Description

The Medal consists of a rounded medal with multiple concentric rings. The obverse centre features a Chilean coat of arms on an enameled blue background.

History

The Medal of the Ministry of National Defense for Distinguished Service is awarded to civilians and military personnel who have served for more than 2 years to the Ministry of National Defense of Chile.

The Medal is suspended by a solid yellow Knight ribbon.
