Physical Description

The I Class consists of a four armed cross with multiple rays projected on the quadrants of the cross. The obverse bears a partially enameled Chilean coat of arms. The cross is suspended by a flying Condor in the same metal.

History

The Military Merit Star is awarded to recognize both Chilean and foreign military personnel for outstanding long services rendered to any of the branches of the Chilean Armed forces.

I Class is awarded to individuals who have contributed to 30 years of service.
