Physical Description

The III Class consists of a five armed cross with ball finials, the obverse bears a partially enameled Chilean coat of arms.

History

The Military Merit Star is awarded to recognize both Chilean and foreign military personnel for outstanding long services rendered to any of the branches of the Chilean Armed forces.

III Class is awarded to individuals who have contributed to 10 years of service.
