The Medal for Chiloe (Medalla de ChiloE) was established to reward Chilean Officer and men who defeated the last Spanish garrison in Chile, located at the Island of Chiloe, in 1826.

The Medal was authorized in both Gold and Silver. The Gold Medal was awarded to Officers, while the Silver Medal was awarded to enlisted men.
