The San Luis Province for the Expeditionary Army in the South Medal (Medalla de la Provincia de San Luis al Ejército Expedicionario del Sur) was authorized by the government of Argentina in recognition of the ongoing actions of the soldiers from San Luis Province against the Indians in the southern of Argentina between 1878 and 1926.
The Argentinian government authorized a clasp for the campaign, “EXPEDICIÓN 1878.”
