The Medal for Dr. M D Muñoz (Medalla para el Dr. M D Muñoz) was authorized by the Bolivian government of Manuel Melgarejo in 1865, in recognition of Mariano Donato Muñoz who served to Melgarejo government as prime minister until 1871, when Melgarejo was overthrow.

It is not clear who was the recipient for this medal.

The Medal features an obverse inscription that translates to "Potosi to the Illustrious Collaborator of General Melgarejo," and a reverse inscription that translates to "Dr. M D Muñoz Loyal Secretary of State in 1865."
