History

The Order of Rogelio Sinán was founded in 2007 in recognition Panamanian writers for the best national work of literature each two years. The Order was named after Rogelio Sinán (1902-1994) who was one of the most distinguished authors and poets in Panama. His actual name was Bernando Dominguez Alba.

The Order consists of a unique grade.
