History


The Cross for Veterans of Revolution (Cruz de los Veteranos de la Revolución) was instituted in Mexico in honor of the veterans of the Mexican Revolution who fought first against the conservative government of Porfirio Díaz between 1910-1914, and then against the government of General Victoriano Huerta between 1914-1917.

The Cross depicts different inscriptions that denote the years of service of the recipient.

The Cross features an obverse inscription that can be translated to "Veterans of Revolution 1910-1914."

The Cross features an obverse inscription that can be translated to "Veterans of Revolution 1910-1914," and a reverse inscription that translates to "Unification of the Veterans of the Revolution."
