History

The Star for Bejar and El Salado (Estrella por Bejar y El Salado) was authorized by the Mexican government in 1842, in recognition of the military personnel under the command of General Adrian Woll who fought against Mexican and Texan separatists at San Antonio and Salado creeks in September, 1842.

The Star was authorized with two classes; the Star, and the Breast Star. It is not clear if the class denotes the rank of the recipient.

The Star features an obverse inscription that can be translated to "He Fought for the Integrity of Mexico."
