The United States Agency for International Development Meritorious Honor Award was established by the United States Agency for International Development. The Medal was awarded to members of the Foreign Service, Civil Service, and the United States Military in recognition of special acts, service, or sustained outstanding performance. Qualifying service includes the support of a one-time event, innovation in the accomplishment of short-term tasks, outstanding performance in official duties, and contributions to increasing the productivity and efficiency of the agency.
