An impressive and large silver star, concave, consisting of an eight pointed star, each composed of multiple individual rays, secondary enameled star composed of multiple individual rays presenting the colours of the Chinese Republic, an elaborate obverse centre presenting a pronounced central red stone, with white enamel surround featuring a grain stock with red ribbon, outer red enameled ring with finely placed pearls, reverse with dual stays and a principle pin assembly, with affixed with cartouche with Chinese characters stating "Order of the Precious Brilliant Golden Grain".
This Order was instituted by President Yuan Shih Kai. It was conferred in recognition of exceptional civil merit.
The reverse features Chinese characters.
