Physical Description and Item Details


A silver, eight-pointed star, the obverse presents a white enameled centre bearing five wheat stalks of yellow and green enamels, surrounded by a ring of green-blue enamel with dots of the colours of the Republic of China, mounted to another silver, eight-pointed star, the reverse presents a principle pin assembly, marked to Chinese characters for Republic of China Year 12 (1923), marked with Chinese characters stating that the maker is the Yin Zhu Ju (Central mint), weighing 67.8 grams.

History


This Order was instituted by President Yuan Shih Kai. It was conferred upon individuals in recognition of exceptional civil or military meritorious service and achievement.

The reverse features Chinese characters.
