This Order was established by Emperor Kang Teh of Manchuria. It is considered the Manchurian equivalent of the Japanese Order of the Rising Sun (see JPN103).
This Order was conferred upon recipients of the Grand Cordon of the Order of Auspicious Clouds or the Order of the Pillars of the State.
It was awarded a total of 33 times between 1934 and 1940.
The reverse Japanese characters translate to "Order of Merit Decoration".
