Breast Star: four-piece construction, number impressed "70046" on the reverse, 71.5 mm (w) x 71.8 mm (h), vertical pinback. Intact enamels, extremely fine.
This Order is South Korea's highest military honour. It is conferred upon South Korean and Allied military personnel in recognition of gallantry and exceptional meritorious service during combat or national emergencies.
This Order was amended in 1963, 1967, and in 1973.
