History

This decoration is also known in Malay as "Pingat Perkhidmatan Setia." It is awarded for loyalty to the military.

It is a round silver medal with a ring suspension. The obverse features two crossed spears superimposed on a laurel wreath with a crown above. The reverse is plain but has the name of the medal in Romanised script. It is worn on a red ribbon with thin white edges and a central yellow band edged with narrow dark blue stripes.
