History

Known in Malay as the "Darjah Yang Mulia Pangkuan Negara". Presented for meritorious service to the country.

The insignia of the order consists of a collar, two stars and three types of badges. The motto of the order is "Di-peliharakan Allah" meaning "Under God's Protection."

There is no limit to the number of people who may be conferred this award. The badge for women has a ribbon that is tied in a bow.

The Member badge is smaller than that of the Officer. It is composed of silver gilt and white enamel. It is an 11 point star with small crescents and stars between the rays. The central medallion is white enamel with an embossed crown and crescent and the motto of the order in arabic.
