History


Known in Malay as "Seri Paduka Mahkota Johor", this Order was instituted by Sultan Abu Bakar. It is awarded for loyalty, diligence, and meticulous service amongst military personnel, civil servants and benefactors of the state, both Malaysian and foreign.

The I Class is the Grand Commander ("Dato Sri Paduka") is restricted to 16 individuals. The II Class Commander ("Dato Paduka") is restricted to 24 individuals. The Companion ("Stia") is restricted to 32 individuals.

The collar is composed of gilt and enamel with links that present crescents and stars, bows and scyphers of the Prophet Muhammad's principle disciples: Abu Bakar, Othman , Omar and Ali. The front device is supported by two golden tigers, is the name of the Prophet in Arabic which is surmounted b ya crown and with a blue scroll below bearing the motto of the Order in Jawi "KAPADA ALLAH BERSERAH" meaning "Unto God Resigned."
