History

Known in Malay as "Darjah Kerabat Johor Yang Amat Dihormati", this order was instituted by Sultan Abu Bakar on July 31, 1886. This Order is only awarded to members of the royal family and is therefore quite rare. It is conferred in two classes.

The Grand Commander Badge is a silver nine-pointed, multi-rayed star, with crossed sword and kris in the center. Above the crossed blades is a red enamelled scroll with the motto of the Order "Muwafakat itu berkat." It is worn on a suspension piece of a crescent and star.
