History

This Order was conferred upon individuals in recognition of service in military and civil struggles associated with obtaining independence.

The I Class Star was awarded for participation in all three of the following periods:

1) January 6, 1942 - July 26, 1942
2) July 27, 1942 - March 26, 1945
3) March 27, 1945 - August 15, 1945

This Order was last awarded on November 24, 1986.
