The medal is also known as Akasha-Seva-Patta.

Conferred upon members of the Nepalese Air Force in recognition of meritorious service.

The obverse features an image of the Hindu god Akash Bhairab and an inscription in Nepalese. The reverse features the Nepalese flag and is dated "2023" (V.S. 2023 = A.D. 1966).
