Physical Description

A five-pointed star constructed of bronze, the reverse is plain with an open-ended wreath, on a frame type red ribbon.

History

This Order was established by the Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1947. It was re-established on November 23, 2003 by the Government of Vietnam and is currently an award of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

This Order was conferred upon civil or military personnel, and to organizations and civil or military units for extraordinary achievement in support of the revolutionary actions of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the nation. It is currently awarded for meritorious service to the nation.

It may be awarded posthumously.
