History

The Resistance Order was established on August 20, 1948 and was awarded by the People's Army of Vietnam upon military personnel in recognition of meritorious service during the resistance against the French (1946-1954), against South Vietnam, and against the USA (1954-1975). Original examples are extremely rare and are mainly seen in Vietnamese museums.

There are potentially two different versions of this Order and potential different ribbons - one being solid red and the other being red with yellow stripes. However, there is limited information regarding this item.
