Physical Description


A five-pointed star, the obverse center bears a circular pebbled medallion with a red and blue enamel flag of the National Liberation Front for South Vietnam, underneath the flag is a banner inscribed with “"CHIÊŃ SĨ GIA’I PHÓNG" (Soldier of the People’s Army), the reverse is plain, on a pentagonal red and blue striped ribbon

History


The decoration was instituted on July 6, 1966.

This Order was conferred upon members of the National Liberation Front in recognition of service in South Vietnam.
