Physical Description

A bronze gilt medal in the shape of a square with ornamental ends, the obverse is pebbled, the obverse bears a green enamel squared center with an anchor, a rifle, a bayonet, the reverse is plain, with the inscription THAM-MUU BOI TINH VIETNAM, on a red, white and blue striped ribbon

History

This medal was conferred upon military personnel in recognition of at least 6 months of extraordinary service and devotion as military staff. It ceased to be awarded in 1973.

The II Class Medal was awarded to Enlisted Personnel. The ribbon features blue borders.
