A Vietnamese Staff Service Medal; 2nd Class for NCO's and Enlisted Men - Bronze gilt with green enamels, 41 mm x 41 mm, original ribbon with dual prong pinback, the edges of the ribbon trimmed in blue designating NCOs/Enlisted Men, light contact and gilt wear, better than very fine. Footnote: Awarded to staff service to the Armed Forces evidencing outstanding initiative and devotion to duty.
This medal was conferred upon military personnel in recognition of at least 6 months of extraordinary service and devotion as military staff. It ceased to be awarded in 1973.
The II Class Medal was awarded to Enlisted Personnel. The ribbon features blue borders.
