Albania, People's Republic/Socialist Republic. An Order of Labour, I Class
(Urdhëri i Trimërisë). Instituted in 1945. Three-piece construction, in silvered and gilt bronze, measuring 43.7 mm x 45.5 mm (h), maker marked "PRÄWEMA MARKNEUKIRCHEN" on the screwback, very light contact, near extremely fine.
This Order was awarded to social and public organizations, individuals, and collectives in recognition of extraordinary services that fostered the economic growth of Albania.
The Order was expanded in 1945 to include three badges grades and a medal.
The I Class badge was conferred to recognize extraordinary labour that strengthened socialism and enhanced labour output within a variety of fields, including the sciences, culture, art, and engineering.
