History


This medal was founded by the Great National Assembly, and it was conferred upon all living participants of the Bulgarian Uprisings in June and September 1923.

It was awarded on the 50th Anniversary of the Uprising.

The medal was designed by Kiril Todorov, and it was discontinued in 1991.

There were 10040 medals produced in total.
