History
This medal was founded to commemorate Bulgaria's establishment as an Independent Kingdom in 1908.
It was conferred upon Bulgarian Army personnel, such as Officials and veterans, and State Officials who were present at the Proclamation ceremonies in Tirnovo.
When the cross was awarded to women it was worn on a bow ribbon.
The obverse inscription translates to "Tirnovo, September 22, 1908".
The reverse inscription translates to "Bulgarian Kingdom," and is signed by the manufacturer “P.TELGE”.
