This medal is an unofficial medal that was founded during the First Balkan War to represent the support of Europeans for the Balkan Allies against their Ottoman adversaries.

The obverse inscription translate to "Ferdinand I, Tsar of the Bulgarians."

The obverse medallion is signed by the manufacturer "PICHL, PRAGUE".

The reverse inscription translates to "In this Sign thou shalt conquer."

The Gold Medal was conferred upon Ferdinand I.
