History

This award was conferred upon members of the Construction Troops, such as Officers, Sergeants, and general military servicemen, for meritorious services within the development and fortification of the Bulgarian military and Construction Troops.

Recipients of the awards had to have served a minimum of ten years, and have negative marks on their service records.

The obverse and reverse feature inscriptions in Bulgarian.

The obverse inscription roughly translates to "Construction Troops 1920," and the reverse inscription translates to "For Merit - Construction Troops."
