Czechoslovak Military Order of the White Lion - Second Class Star, in silver and enamels, 55mm, Prague issue by maker Karnet & Kysely, hallmarked on pin, in extremely fine condition and very scarce.

History


This Order was founded while the Czechoslovak government was in exile.

It was conferred upon foreign and Czechoslovakian soldiers in recognition of distinguished leadership and merit rendered on the battlefield during World War II.

The obverse inscription translates to "For Victory."
