The Medal is awarded to Czech citizens and foreigners for rendering meritorious service within peacekeeping initiatives and missions within Balkan territories, including but not limited to Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This Medal has not yet been awarded, due to the use of the Medal for Service Abroad.
