The Aircrew Badge is classified into four types based on changes in design during different political regimes.
The Type IV Badge has a circle above the flying eagle. It is similar to the Type II Pilot Badge, but it is half-sized.
There are three versions of the Type IV Badge that differ in composition, but all three versions have a circle embroidered in blue and white silk.
