History


The Decoration for Meritorious Printers was established by the Council of Ministers in 1978. It was awarded by the Ministry of Arts and Culture to employees of the printing industry in recognition of meritorious service. It was discontinued following the collapse of the communist regime in 1989.

The Silver Medal features an obverse inscription that translates to "Meritorious Printer."
