History


The LOT Airlines Decoration for 1 Million Kilometres of Flight was established by the Polish People's Republic in 1956. It was awarded to pilots and crewmembers of LOT Airlines (Polskie Linie Lotnicze), Poland's national airline, in recognition of one million kilometres of flight. It was discontinued following the collapse of the communist regime in 1989.
