History


The Decoration for Merit to Road Construction was established by the Council of Ministers in 1997 as a replacement for the Decoration for Meritorious Road Workers that was awarded in the Polish People’s Republic. It is awarded by the Minister of Transport, Construction and Marine Economy to Polish road construction workers in recognition of meritorious service or contributions to the industry in Poland.

The Silver Decoration features an obverse inscription that can be translated to "Merit to Road Construction."
