History


The Decoration for Meritorious Railway Workers was established by the Council of Ministers in 2000 as a replacement for the Decoration for Meritorious Railway Workers that was awarded in the Polish People's Republic. It is currently awarded by the Minister of Transport, Construction and Marine Economy to Polish railway workers in recognition of meritorious service and contributions to the industry in Poland.

The Silver Decoration features an obverse inscription that can be translated to "Merit to Railroads."
