History


The Medal for Merit to Culture was established by the Republic of Poland in 2005 and is currently administered by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. It is awarded to Polish citizens in recognition of meritorious contributions to Polish culture.

The II Class Medal features a reverse inscription that translates to "Glory to the Arts."
