History


This medal was instituted on October 31, 1912 and was awarded to military personnel and civilians to "commemorate the the First Balkan War".

Some medals produced by Arthus Bertrand have "KOSOVO" misspelled.

The obverse of this medal translates to "KOSOVO AVENGED 1912" and the reverse translates to "KUMANOVO SKOPJE PRILEP JEDRENE VELES N.PAZAR DEBAR SHTIP PRIZREN MRDARE BITOL SKADAR OCHRID SJENIZA DOJRAN LJESH TETOVO DRACH ELBASAN PRISHTINA".
