A Serbian Order of Natalie; Second Class - in silver, Cyrillic cypher "N", unmarked, 33x56.5mm, with original triangular ribbon, extremely fine.
The decoration was instituted on February 22, 1886 and was awarded to ladies who "helped alleviate the wounded and sick during the war against Bulgaria". It was conferred with Cyrillic initials to citizens of Serbia and with a Latin initials to foreign citizens.
The obverse of this badge translates to "FOR AIDING THE WOUNDED AND SICK WARRIORS OF THE WAR".
